South Verde's great.
I remember my first day at South Verde High School. I'd heard so many bad reports about the school, to where honestly, I was worried to attend. It's a great thing I did go, though, because I discovered that South Verde High School is a deeply misunderstood place of education. Our school now stands where PACE Prepratory Academy once stood. The school moved, so we took over the building with INCREDIBLE teachers and tudors, and even more incredible students, who are more misunderstood as the school itself. SVHS has rules. Rules, guidelines, and restrictions that many assume aren't there, because we aren't a full-day school. There are morning and afternoon classes, each four hours long. People believe that we get it 'easy', just going to school, messing around and going home. That's absolutely NOT how it is. Students go there to learn, and to catch up on classes that they otherwise would have failed out of, because no place offers the kind of help that South Verde High School does, with it's qualified teachers and aids that are ALWAYS there when you need the slightest bit of help. You can finish your classes quickly, and graduate in time to even get a few college classes in before the time is due. This school gets you a head start, and a great education if you put your head to it and spend about four solid hours a day using the mind that they help to strengthen.
Like I previously said, South Verde Tecnology Magnet Charter High School is an extremely misunderstood school, and deserves way more credit than it's given.
If you are planning to send your student to South Verde, please, DO consider it. It's a decision you wont regret.
